Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist who is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current electricity supply system.
He competed again Thomas Edison's Direct Current system with his own Alternating Current system in the late 1800's in the "War of Currents." He spoke eight languages, produced the first motor that ran on AC Current, developed technology for wireless communication over long distances, held about 300 patents, and "claimed" to have developed a "superweapon" that would end all war.
